New website is up and running...check it out!

Well with things getting back to normal, Ive finally found time to edit and post some of these photos from the last weekend of my trip to colorful Colorado.

We started out our weekend with a drive down to Colorado Springs where we met up and stayed with Ian, Isaac's brother. The next day we headed up to Monarch Mountain Ski resort to fall...err...snowboard. It was a blast and it was truly beautiful on top of the mountain. I with I could have brought a camera...

After a fun (an painful) snowboarding adventure, Isaac and I headed south once again to Trinidad, Isaac's hometown to see the sights and visit with his parents for a couple days. While we were there, we took a little drive along highway 12 to see the sights...

On our drive through highway 12, we stopped at a frozen lake to take a little walk on the ice. It was a little disheartening to hear the ice thunder and crack through the valley, but it sure was beautiful.

Bishop's Castle. A real life 20th century castle built entirely by hand by one man. This place really was amazing. A little scary, but amazing none the less. Everything you see was built by hand. No foolin'.

Being so far south, and so close to the border, we decided to take a drive into New Mexico. It was a short lived stay and before we knew it we were back in good old Colorado.

And with that scenic trip (and a few more drinks), my stay in Colorado was over. It flew by, but it won't be forgotten. I learned a lot, found out new things about myself, relaxed, had a few drinks, met some great people, and had a lot of fun. Hopefully I'll be seeing more of the mountains soon!

Thanks for the fun times man....it was a blast.

So the past few days haven't been very eventful. Other than the obvious bars that we have been frequenting the majority of the trip, We haven't done many things. So to break the manotany while Isaac has been at work, I took a little walk around the nearby area. I walked toward the mountains and found a quaint little park just around the corner.

A little self portrait...

After my relaxing walk, We decided that it a drink was well overdue...

Isaac and his much overdue haircut...

The three of us, Danny, Isaac and myself...

Today, we decided to take a visit to the Denver Zoo along with Isaac's niece, nephew and sister-in-law.

I found this bumper sticker to be all too true...

All in all, the past couple days have been exciting. What's next on the list of things to do? We'll see!

So I feel bad. I have been neglecting my beloved blog. Much of that is in part to my lack of photographing excursions over the past couple months. But fall is coming and with it, more photos will follow...

The few photos I have taken in the past couple months have been for JENESIS Magazine's Photography Issue which can be seen here...www.jenesismagazine.com. My theme was BMX photos in Pittsburgh.

On a recent trip to the junkyard, we wondered into the "dinosaur" area. Where the cars have been sitting there for years on years and the only activity there is the spiders. I wish I would have taken more photos, but it was difficult to keep stopping while carrying all my tools...

All of these were taken with my Canon A580 point and shoot and I have to say, I am really happy/surprised with the results!
